Montgomery College, based in the State of Maryland (United States), is an open access public education institution with nearly 50,000 students enrolled. Every year the college selects an innovative initiative to pursue, which can be implemented with an industry partner. The Presidential Innovative Leadership Institute (PILI) is designed to offer faculty, staff and administrators the opportunity to participate as a cohort to enhance or advance their level of leadership.  Through a series of six sessions, PILI aims to build senior-level leadership capacity within the organization by enhancing the knowledge, skills, and overall competencies of the participants.
