Karen Caldwell

Karen Caldwell is an adult learning specialist whose training and development experience spans international (South Korea, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain) and North American boundaries. With a background in the learning sciences, cognitive science, instructional design, and digital literacy, Karen applies evidence-informed strategies to build capacity in higher education, employment training, and workforce development environments. Prior to completing her doctorate in Mind, Brain, and Teaching at Johns Hopkins University, Karen earned qualifications from Cambridge University, University of Toronto, Indiana University, and McGill University. Her TEDx Talk, Learning out Loud , touches on several of her passions and research related to teaching and learning.
